Shock Absorbers

A shock absorber is designed to smooth out shocks from the road and dissipate energy. They work together with springs to absorb shock and bumps from the road.
Internally there are valves and orifices that control the flow of oil through an internal piston.

In class, we check the shock absorbers on the vehicles for leaks and surface damage to see if they were fine to use. We found nothing wrong the shock absorbers.
